Easter is coming, and with it comes spring. For those of us in Kentucky--where there was snowfall just yesterday--that's a welcome change! The changing of the seasons always inspires me, and when the change is to warmth, I always feel like I should be cramming all the projects I can into the longer days. So far this year I've been a bit slow in making crafts with my kiddos, so I've been looking through pictures from last year and the one before to get inspired. As we're not a church-going family, Easter is spent with grandparents and great-grandparents, and egg-coloring is always on the menu. Plain ol' dye can get boring, though, so I like to paint a few, and let the 5-year old paint as well. Two years ago we did some awesome Star Wars eggs:
This year I'm going to stencil out some Monster High eggs for my daughter to paint, and I'll be making some Game Of Thrones-inspired ones as well. Pics to come! Have a lovely and artful holiday!
